About Us

Michele's Dance Academy is now in it's 46th year of operation serving Las Cruces and is the original exclusive dance studio in Las Cruces.   It serves as the home of the Las Cruces Chamber Ballet, the longest running ballet company in New Mexico.   This year will mark the 41st Anniversary of "The Nutcracker" Ballet.  

Michele's Dance Academy is headed by Kevin Self, formerly of American Ballet Theatre (ABT) in New York City.   All of our instructors are classically trained and former dancers.
